Idaho CU Link Listserv Welcome Message

Welcome to the Idaho CU Link listserv. Idaho CU Link was established to allow credit union professionals and volunteers to ask questions, exchange information, and to provide a forum for open discussion of ideas and issues related to Idaho credit unions.

Please remember this is an extremely public forum; as such, Idaho CU Link is not the appropriate venue for discussions of a personal or limited interest nature. Furthermore, it is not to be used for advertising, soliciting, or marketing.

Please remember that information posted on the listserv is available for all to see, and comments are subject to applicable libel, slander, copyright, and antitrust laws. Thus, do not post anything in a listserv message that you would not want the world to see or that you would not want anyone to know came from you. Only post copyrighted material if you own the copyright. Due to antitrust laws, please do not post messages that include or ask for rates or fees for credit union products and services.

PLEASE KEEP ALL E-MAILS FOCUSED ON CREDIT UNION AND LISTSERV-SPECIFIC ISSUES.

Using the listserv is simple. Just address your e-mails to: idahoculink@doig.cuna.org.

SIMPLE RULES TO REMEMBER
It is important that you include your e-mail address in the body of the message (or in your signature) to allow others to send private replies. You may also want to include a phone or fax number as another means of contact.

When replying to a message, regardless of whether or not you choose “reply to sender” or “reply to all” the message will go to the ENTIRE list. This is the intent of listservs, to communicate all messages back to the group. Therefore, it is important for you to remember that if you want your reply to go only to the person who posted the message, then you need to send a new e-mail directly to that individual.

Attachments are not allowed in your messages. In order to prevent the accidental spread of e-mail viruses, the list does not allow any messages to be posted that contain attachments. If you do send a message with an attachment, you will receive a message back stating that your e-mail was rejected.
